Oh Hello Stranger...

Blog you are a stranger to me. I decided to sit and write on you for the minutes I have amidst studying, clinic, class, church and Clark. I want you to know I love my life and I'm very thankful for it. I have had so many growing experiences this summer that have helped me define who I am. So now because I like lists and we haven't caught up for a while... I'm going to list a few things that I have learned the past few months of Summer. I learned...

1- I have a love/hate relationship with being alone.
I love to have me time but I hate when Clark is gone. Clark was gone most the summer. I learned that I can sleep alone in an apartment with the windows open. I learned I can be brave and figure things out by myself. I learned I can fix things. I learned I am a lot stronger than I thought I was. However, I also learned that I could never ever live without Clark. Sounds mushy? Deal. With. It. I love him and that's all there is to it. I learned I have grown more fond of him since the day we got married and continue to do so.

2- Utah IS NOT in a Bubble.
I have heard from many people who come from outside of Utah that Utah is in a bubble. This means we blindly believe in the LDS religion. We choose the republican party because our parents do. We don't care about other religions etc. etc. Well guess what... Utah IS NOT in a bubble. I'm not from Utah. I'm LDS. I'm not a democrat or a republican. I am aware of the world but choose not to be bogged down by it. I have a testimony of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints that I found on my own with help from my parents. I love my religion and I respect others who aren't of my faith. I, however, will always stand up for my religion when it is misinterpreted.  I will always defend it. I will always try to help others come to know it. It's who I am and I am not in a bubble.

3- Graduate School is Hard.
Enough said. I admire anyone who gets through it and maintains a positive attitude and succeeds. I'm working at the positive attitude currently. I do love what I am doing though so that makes it all worth it.

4- This Quote.
"Don't let Anyone ever Dull your Sparkle." I won't thank you very much.

And on that note... Good night. "May the odds be ever in your favor."
