I decided a few weeks ago that I don't see my cousins as much as I would like too and it probably will only get worse as life goes on because we all keep getting busier and busier so... I planned a GIRLY COUSIN WEEKEND. Delaney, McKayla, Addie, Heather, Halle, Erin and Josie all attended the party weekend. It was so FUN! We wish Ally could have been there but we'll get her next year hopefully.
On Friday, I left USU at around 10:30 after class and after playing some sweet April Fool's Pranks on Clark. He loves that I'm creative like that. Anyway, I drove up to Aunt Kristi's picked up Delaney, Heather and Erin and then we went to Gran's house. When we got there we unloaded our stuff and decorated our mailboxes that I would send messages in all weekend long. We also decorated stars for a place setting we used at dinner. Then we played Imaginiff and Gran fed us Hawaiin Haystacks and Ernie made us Princess cupcakes that were to die for cute. After dinner, we went to the gym and Gran taught us a few line dances. She is a neat lady. When we got back home a few pranks had been played on us by the BOY CAMPOUT WEEKEND that was going on at Aunt Ernie's home.
They weren't that funny so I won't mention them in this post. I would not like other people to be offended by what they did (WALLY).
Then we watched a sad movie with Gran called Clancey. Halle bawled and everyone else was on the verge. NOT GOOD. So we lightened up the mood with High School Musical 3 afterword. We also did facials while we were watching the sad movie and it was a blast. Josie and Gran even participated. Then we pranked the boys back after Gran went to bed.
The next morning we ate crepes and waffles. It was a lovely breakfast. We also watched conference and did nails, hair and make up. Gran helped us make headbands that turned out darling! (Thanks for the fabric Aunt Kristi) We watched the 2nd session of conference and then we watched Tangled. After Tangled we had a photo shoot. The pictures turned out way cute but it is hard to get this group of girls to let go of their inhibitions and be crazy!!!! Then we all got in our gowns and had a princess feast. We all named ourselves after Disney Princesses. Delaney was Tinkerbell. McKayla was Cinderella. Addie was Belle. Heather was Aurora. Halle was (I can't remember, she didn't really like the princess theme anyway). Erin was Ariel. Josie was Rapunzel. I was Pocahontas.
Gran really made a feast too. We had salad and strawberry bisque for our appetizer. Then Chicken and Cheesy Potatoes for the main course and cake for dessert. It was so elegant and fun.
After that we had a Just Dance 2 competition. I can really dance. Delaney is really good at moving like an Egyptian too and Addie just throws her hair on the ground. McKayla ended up winning. Then, we made up a dance to prank the boys with again and it was awesome. Again, I won't comment on it so it won't offend anyone (Wally). After the dance, we stayed up way too late talking and laughing.
On Sunday we just watch conference and headed home. Overall, it was a great weekend spent with the girl cousins. We're making it a tradition every year.
